Skills Centers – Each designed for a different ability The Green Skills Center is built close to the ground for riders just learning to clear obstacles and ride planks. Whistler Mountain Bike Park Highlights The Boneyard Slopestyle Park, at the base of Whistler Mountain. You’ve seen it in the pictures and in the movies, come experience it for yourself! The features change all the time but some the favorites include: staff housing box, road gap, c-wall, golden triangle wall and the Kona Jump Farm. Biker X Course: Take it fast, take it slow. Huge banked corners, rhythm sections, table tops, and doubles - the closest thing to flying on two wheels. Garbanzo Bike & Bean offers the biggest and best high performance bike fleet, both downhill and valley bike rentals, serviced daily. Magic Park: The Magic Park is easily accessed by the Magic Chair, at the base of Blackcomb Mountain. Beginners and children will love the introductory trails made especially for them. Rentals and children’s guided programs are conveniently offered the base of the Magic Park. Not to be missed! Kokanee Crankworx Freeride Mountain Bike festival: Kokanee Crankworx is North America’s premier summer mountain bike festival that takes place July 21-29th, 2007. Expect to be blown away with spectacular freeride mountain bike competitions, a village Expo and daily live music and entertainment. In 2006, the Kokanee Slopestyle finals saw 15,000 excited fans cheering for the best Slopestyle riders in the world. The Harvest Huckfest features the Super D, Amateur Slopestyle, Earn It / Burn It, Air Dome Jump Jam and Air Dome party and movie premier. Phat Wednesdays: Phat Wednesdays run on a bi-monthly basis starting mid-June and encompasses the Kokanee Downhill Series and the Junior Race Series Women’s Wednesdays: Whistler Blackcomb is proud to have launched a fantastic evening program for women in the Whistler Mountain Bike Park. Women's Wednesdays runs every Wednesday between 5pm and 8pm. Ticket and rental discounts plus free guides for all ability levels are just some of the perks of this new weekly event for women.
